Sylvain Roy — I am a technology lawyer based in Montreal, practicing in intellectual property (IP) transactions, valuation and licensing on a global basis. I offer 30 years of experience: from founding an interactive robotics startup and an IP brokerage, to building an energy venture incubation practice, to advising operating companies, investors and renowned research institutions. My experience includes advising EPFL's Technology Transfer Office, valuation and assessment projects for CERN, and guest lecturing at CEIPI and WIPO. Licensed Attorney (Québec) since 1994.
