Foundation Sylvain Roy established SRA in 1999 after co-founding a venture-backed robotics software company where he served as COO, raising capital as early as 1996. That dual track — legal practice and technology ventures — has defined his approach for over 25 years.

Core Expertise His practice encompasses business and technology law with particular depth in intellectual property valuation, complex regulatory frameworks, and cross-border transactions. He has completed over 200 IP valuation projects, including multinational patent portfolio assessments for transfer pricing compliance.

International Experience Sylvain founded an IP brokerage firm in Switzerland, serving clients including ABB, Legrand, and Schneider Electric. His advisory roles with CERN and EPFL demonstrate his ability to transform academic innovation into commercial value. He maintains strong European connections through affiliated offices in Switzerland.
